Fifteen miles south of Lexington Park, MD is the Point Lookout State Park. Features of this park include 143 wooded campsites, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, visitor center and hunting opportunities. There is also a Civil War museum commemorating the Confederate prison camp that once stood on the site of this park.
